  • Provide administrative support to teams practicing law specialties of Litigation (including bankruptcies/insolvencies) and Prosecutions
  • Gather and review information from claim files and other sources
  • Preparing and processing legal documents in compliance with Rules of Civil Procedure, Small Claims Court Rules or other applicable guidelines
  • Scheduling and making arrangements for matters such as mediation and court hearings
  • Reviewing invoices and other types of expenses and bringing any irregularities to supervisors
  • Preparing standard Release Forms for approval
  • Updating client’s systems with current status of file activity and ensuring documentation is appropriately filed
  • Tracking and archiving appearance dates and other file-specific information including copies of relevant cases or other precedential materials
  • Provide administrative support by maintaining abeyance systems; gathering data and preparing statistical reports; undertaking offsite storage records activities; making travel and meeting arrangements; composing routine correspondence/memos;
  • Perform other duties as assigned


  • Knowledge of legal terminology, formats and references, knowledge of the court system, Rules of Civil Procedure and variety of legal documents
  • Typing to sixty (60) words per minute Dictaphone skills
  • Intermediate level experience supporting litigation process
  • Strong understanding of statutory rules of procedure
  • Strong knowledge of litigation documents, disclosure requirements, court processes and document filings
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and duties and meet strict deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to accuracy and detail
