Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and organize files in advance of hearings and mediations;
  • Maintain and monitor Outlook email accounts and calendars;
  • Practice administration and management for lawyers;
  • Book and schedule meetings, court attendance, mediations, and any associated travel
  • Manage deadlines, schedules, and priorities

Qualifications:

  • Legal Assistant certificate preferred
  • Previous office experience required
  • Advance proficiency in MS Office, and Windows 10
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill
  • Excellent keyboarding skills with high level of accuracy
  • Excellent proof-reading and attention to detail is key
  • Flexibility and willingness to undertake multiple tasks
  • Ability to take direction but also to work under pressure and meet deadlines under minimal supervision
