Reponsibilities

  • Will plan, write, edit and coordinate the production of all communications content
  • Research and develop communication plans and materials
  • Identify new or changing communication requirements and analyze and report on needs relating to changing demands
  • Plan and coordinate the publication and distribution of all print and digital newsletters and publications
  • Perform variety of communications-related duties such as writing and editing, assisting in preparing terms of reference and specifications for requisitions, providing liaison between different agencies etc.
  • Execute internal and external strategic policy and program initiatives
  • Maintain a communications network with Senior Managers
  • Work with staff and consultants to ensure communications strategies are executed effectively
  • Other related duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • Must have a degree/diploma in Communications or related field
  • Minimum 3 years in similar role
  • Expert knowledge of communications principles and practices including visual identity programs
  • Advanced writing and editing techniques and excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of common office software (ex. Microsoft, email) HTML, Java, Javascript, Web page design, Web design tools and use of online communication technology
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Must have strong organizational, time management and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure
  • Unique creativity to develop appealing, audience-appropriate materials
