Human Resource Assistant required for a Public Sector Organization in Toronto

      • Providing human resources administrative service
      • Creating internal/external job postings
      • Schedule interviews and conduct reference/background checks
      • Setting appointments and following up on action items
      • Assist in the on-boarding process and coordinate and administer the attendance of all employees
      • Responding to telephone, email and written inquiries
      • Will be providing clerical support such as filing, data entry and photocopying
      • Performs other administrative tasks as assigned



  • Must have a University degree/college graduate diploma
  • Experience in an HR setting is an asset but not required
  • Must be dependable, organized, good decision making and judgement skills
  • Must have strong customer service skills
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office specifically in Excel and SharePoint
  • Ability to work in a fast pace team environment with changing priorities
  • Must have proven ability to work independently
