Facilities and Material Assistant required for a Not for Profit professional association in Mississauga.
Position type: 10 month temporary assignment, Full Time Hours
Experienced facilities assistant for large not-for-profit professional association, Mississauga location. Will be responding to internal service requests, liaising with vendors and tradespeople to obtain and coordinate services, receiving and sending out courier deliveries and mail, obtaining, receiving and arranging for storage of office supplies and other deliveries, setting up meeting rooms including AV equipment, preparing documents, coordinating a range of administrative projects and ensuring project deliverables are met to deadlines, updating information in a database, additional logistics and administrative support as required.
Should have 2+ years of comparable experience in a professional office setting; should have ability to lift approximately 20 kg easily; should have strong technical proficiency on MSOffice, including Word, Excel and Outlook; should have familiarity with setting up video and teleconferences and SKYPE calls; should have strong interpersonal skills and enjoy working as part of a busy team; logistics background an asset.
