Job Type:  Temporary Assignment – Initial Term Jan 20, 2020 to Jan 31, 2020, with possibility of extension

Hours:  8 am to 5 pm, 30 minute unpaid lunch, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

  • Process provincial offence charges and fees
  • Schedule hearings for dispute resolutions
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date case files, monitoring status of all cases
  • Prepare and distribute legal documents for hearing officers

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Police Foundations, Paralegal Studies, or relevant Legal Administration Degree or Diploma
  • 1+ years of legal administration experience
  • Fast and accurate data entry speed
  • MS Office proficiency: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Strong communication skills to interact with the general public
  • Superior attention to detail
