Business Operations Manager – Property Management required for commercial property development and management group, reporting to the President.

Salary range: $150-200,000/yr + benefits


  • To act as right hand and key backup to President in daily business operations as well as new projects
  • To ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way
  • Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
  • Responsible for oversight of day to day administration of office site
  • Payroll, quarterly financial and management reports
  • Lead staff meetings
  • Ensure organization regulatory compliance with legislation and industry best practices
  • Formulate strategic and operational objectives
  • Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability
  • Manage budgets and forecasts
  • Perform quality controls and monitor operational KPIs
  • Recruit, train and supervise staff


  • Degree in Business, Operations Management or related field
  • Experience with Commercial Property Administration/ Management, including lease and contract administration, commercial tenant relationship management, facilities administration, coordination, dispatch and overseeing of vendors and trades, client service response, liaison with client contacts, government and regulatory contacts, accounting, legal, logistics and other key professionals and stakeholders in support of ongoing facilities management/business operations as well as new project development
  • 8+ years proven work experience as Operations Manager, Chief of Staff or similar role
  • Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
  • Experience budgeting and forecasting
  • Familiarity with business and financial principles
  • Advanced MS Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with wide range of business contacts at all levels of seniority
  • Excellent judgement and discretion to work with confidential information
  • Leadership ability and superior organizational skills
