Accounts Clerk required for provincial government regulatory body located in downtown Toronto.

  • Daily download, review and integration of revenue transaction batches,
  • Follow up with account managers where required
  • Process cheques, manual payments, credit card transactions
  • Investigate and reconcile payment details to bank statement
  • Preparation of reports and responding to questions as necessary
  • Ensure relevant process documentation is current and records management practices are followed
  • Act as a backup to the Accounts Clerk – Receivables
  • Provide support to Finance team members as needed


  • Completion of a college diploma in finance, business, accounting or equivalent
  • Related experience in an accounting department
  • Track record of delivering excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Ability to work effectively with complex spreadsheets
  • Strong attention to detail, high degree of accuracy in all work, and commitment to quality
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP is an asset
