Accounts Clerk required to support the revenue processing of a provincial regulatory agency in Toronto.

Reponsibilities

  • Perform daily download, review and integration of revenue transaction batches
  • Process cheques, manual payments, credit card transactions
  • Investigate and reconcile payment details to bank statement
  • Prepare reports and respond to questions as necessary
  • Act as a backup to the Accounts Clerk – Receivables
  • Provide ad hoc support to Finance team members as needed


Qualifications

  • Completion of a college diploma in finance, business, accounting or equivalent
  • Related experience in an accounting department
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Ability to work effectively with complex spreadsheets
  • Strong attention to detail, high degree of accuracy in all work, and commitment to quality
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP is an asset
