A nation wide Insurance Brokerage located in downtown Toronto is seeking a Account Manager to service their corporate and commercial clients.

- Understand each client’s risk management needs. Identify gaps in coverage and loss exposures. Recommend insurance coverage.
- Manage the renewal process.
- Process and prepare all policies and client correspondence for new and renewal business. Oversee the issuance of cover notes, certificates of insurance and binders.
- Work with you’re Account Assistant to ensure documents and invoices are issued on a timely basis.
- Ensure billing and accounting is accurate.
- Upsell and cross-refer as appropriate.
- Handle claims effectively, acting as the client advocate with the insurer whenever necessary.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel)
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Ability to prioritize work
- High attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- RIBO license
