Job Type: Full-Time Permanent.
Compensation: $50,000 per annum base salary plus comprehensive benefits, generous commission structure and additional incentives.  Please note that the base salary is not expected to be your primary source of compensation.
Regular Work Hours: Standard work hours are 8 am to 4 pm, not including .5 hour lunch break, Monday to Friday.  Flexible hours work requirements and employment accommodations as needed.
Work Location:  Hybrid – 3-4 days per week onsite at Marberg’s downtown Toronto office, on PATH and near TTC line, with 1-2 remote-work days according to personal and business requirements.  Company cellphone provided.  Onboarding and training period to be worked 100% onsite.
Travel Requirements:  Occasional travel within the GTA for onsite client visits. Travel expenses reimbursed.
Onsite Dress Code: Corporate or Business Casual Dress; Non-Scented Personal Products Workplace Policy in effect.

Responsibilities Summary:    
Further your career as a corporate recruiter and account manager, providing staffing, recruitment and advisory services to top GTA employers, and opening up meaningful employment opportunities to a diverse and talented workforce.

  • Identify, develop and manage a portfolio of business leads  and client relationships, and participate in company marketing, communications and business development initiatives.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate records on company databases.
  • Consult with GTA employers on their required positions and candidate search deliverables.  Post and advertise new jobs. 
  • Research candidates using internal and external resources.
  • Coordinate with Marberg recruitment support team to contact, screen, interview and further qualify prospective candidates, and present their information to Marberg clients.
  • Manage all aspects of search fulfillment process including client service updates, interview scheduling and offer presentation.
  • Participate in employee onboarding and performance support.
  • Additional client, candidate and employee relationship management responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:  
Education:  University Degree or applicable combination of work experience and education.
Preferred Work Experience:  At least 2+ years of pertinent experience within a business development or sales environment.
Preferred Sector Experience:  Staffing agency experience preferred.
Leadership Skills:  Strong leadership, mentorship and advisory skills required, along with excellent listening skills, and the ability to provide and receive effective feedback

Technical and Language Skills Requirements:  

  • Advanced proficiency in MSOffice, including MSWord, Excel, Outlook and Teams (will be tested).
  • Fast and accurate typing and data entry skills (will be tested).
  • Familiarity with an Applicant Tracking or Client Relationship Management database.
  • General proficiency with online software and social media platforms.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Recruiter an asset.
  • Ability to efficiently and accurately read, comprehend and process large volumes of written information.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, including strong business writing skills, and excellent spelling, grammar, proofreading and syntax, and polished, professional telephone manners.
  • Verbal French fluency an asset.

  • Demonstrated successful experience of prioritizing work, making decisions and communicating with others within a values framework of respect, equity, anti-racism, diversity and inclusivity.

Additional Requirements:    

  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada, providing satisfactory documentation upon request.
  • Ability to work both remotely and onsite as required, abiding by organization health and safety policies.
  • Ability to declare personal Non-Conflict of Interest in execution of work responsibilities.
  • Ability to complete satisfactory Provincial and Federal Government security checks, including a Fingerprint Check, upon request. Marberg covers cost of the security checks.
  • Provision of certification of AODA and OHSA online training course completion.
  • Provision of certification of full COVID-19 vaccination series, subject to reasonable accommodation per the Ontario Human Rights Code.  
  • Additional satisfactory Background Checks, Technical Skills Evaluations, and Employment References as required.
