Job Description: 

Procurement Specialist required for Provincial Government employer in Toronto. Responsibilities include preparing Request for Proposals (RFP), Requests for Information (RFI), and Request for Quotations (RFQ). Negotiating and procure major contracts. Developing and evaluating bid criteria and requirements. Following up with contacts and perform appropriate legal action. Assisting with potential procurement strategies. Resolving post contractual issues. Ideal candidate must have previous Procurement Specialist experience. Must have excellent knowledge of procurement and supply functions. Must have knowledge of government guidelines, purchasing and procurement policies. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
