Job Description: 

Procurement Assistant required for a large provincial government agency in North York. Role will be supporting the acquisition of goods and services using established sourcing methods ensuring compliance with and adherence to relevant Directives, Policies, and Procedures.  Will ensure tracking sheets are accurate, the completion of reports and statements while meeting strict deadlines.  Will be coordinating the issuance of new or replacement cards and managing the tracking and reporting of cards.  Will be assisting with the processing of billing statements and invoices.  Must have knowledge of procurement policies, procedures and directives. Must have at least 3 to 5 years related work experience.  Strong computer skills in MS Office Suite of programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience using financial software; advance record-keeping skills. Good verbal and written communication skills. Experience in administering the goods procurement process for service contracts.  Good knowledge of goods vendor community to provide information on the application of procurement policies and procedures.
