Job Description: 

Opportunity for qualified Finance Clerk with Provincial Government agency employer in downtown Toronto. Responsible in providing financial, administrative and clerical services to team members within the Finance unit. Will be entering data into financial system accurately in a timely and efficient manner to ensure prompt payment of invoices. Will be preparing and processing journal entries in a timely manner. Monitoring and processing invoices and claims with internal clients. Will analyzing financial data by verifying and correcting information. Will tracking documents and maintaining filing system by keeping accurate records. Will reporting status of accounts and discrepancies to senior management. Will assist in the production of financial reports as required; assist in procurement of goods and service; assist in other duties as required and assigned. Must have bachelor in Accounting, Finance or Business. Must have minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.  Must have knowledge of Canadian financial reporting requirements.  Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains, and Microsoft Dynamics GP Analytical. Experience in Supply Chain Management/Procurement gained in the public sector would be an asset. Must have high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.  Must have good time management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
