Job Description: 

Event planner required to assist with event planning as well as providing executive assistance support to Government employer in Toronto. Responsibilities include assisting with research such as summarizing notes and data. Organizing and setting up video conferences in workshops. Working with stakeholders and engage in video conferencing and teleconferances. Sending invitations and managing list of invitees. Preparing accessibility and food requirements for events. Preparing seating plan and arrangements. Buying and arranging materials for events. Assisting with other administrative duties as required. Ideal candidate must have previous experience with planning events and managing projects. Must have previous experience with video conferencing and teleconferences. Must have excellent organizational, time management and interpersonal skills. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to summarize quantitative and qualitative data.
