Job Description: 

Administrative Coordinator required for a Provincial Government Agency. Will be responsible for managing and coordinating administrative activities including but not limited to daily schedules and travel accommodation arrangements. Meetings and catering arrangements. Maintaining and tracking departmental documents. Preparing and proofreading documents, correspondence, reports and presentations. Preparing and filing expense  reimbursement forms and reviewing invoices for accuracy. Assembling packages for Board meetings and committees, including compilation of agendas, reports and presentations. Recording, proofreading and distributing minutes for various meetings. Provide reception coverage as needed. Ideal candidate must possess a Post-secondary education in business/office administration or equivalent. Must possess a minimum of 5 years related work experience providing at the executive level. Possess knowledge of office administration practices, including calendar management, minute-taking, and meeting facilitation. Must possess business writing skills, including editing, spelling, punctuation, proofreading, grammar and other English language skills to prepare a variety of reports and documents. Must possess strong analytical, problem solving and judgement skills to manage competing priorities and anticipate needs to meet deadlines and commitments. Possess interpersonal and conflict resolution skills coupled with a customer service orientation to work effectively with all levels of internal and external stakeholders. Must possess strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and knowledge of development and maintenance of databases. Must be a motivated self-starter to work well independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Must possess professionalism, diplomacy and tact to handle confidential and sensitive information/documents.
