Job Description: 

Seeking for an Administrative Assistant to support a Provincial Government Agency. This role will provide administrative support to Vice-Chairs and Member Representatives. Will proofread and edit decisions and memoranda of varying complexity for accuracy and grammar. Prepare and maintain decision data in the organization’s customized case management database. Type decisions, case material and correspondence from dicta and other materials, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and suitable format. Release decisions in accordance to organizational standards and processes. Follow up on post hearing activity; schedule panel. Will ensure distribution of file materials and Addenda in advance of scheduled hearings. Successful candidate must have the knowledge of medical/legal terminology in order to transcribe documents ensuring spelling and accuracy. Must have advance proofreading/editing skills to proofread decisions and ensure spelling and grammar are accurate and meet organizational decision standards. Must have advanced computer and word processing skills, preferably in a Windows/Word environment in order to format complex documents within existing software and templates; proven administrative support experience. Must have the ability to work well under pressure in order to meet tight time constraints while producing accurate product. Must have advance dicta skills and typing skills (50 wpm). Excellent grammar/spelling and editing; advanced oral and written; strong communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
