Job Description: 

Administrative Assistant required for a Provincial Government office. This role will provide support services to the unit under the direction of the Manager. Will perform administrative work related to the day-to-day internal operations of an OPS senior manager’s or executive’s office. Will identify issues of importance/relevance in the incoming correspondence and flag them to the Manager and the unit. Will maintain the correspondence tracking system and act as a back-up for the Administrative Coordinator. Compile and update information listing request for meetings and other deliverables. Will assist with timely turnaround of correspondence and closure of files and help resolve correspondence system problems. Will type, revise and format a wide variety of reports, letters, memoranda, charts, briefing notes, issue sheets and other materials as required. Provide detailed response to queries. Will organize and maintain managers’ meeting schedules, and make travel, meeting and conference arrangements. Must have the ability to multi tasks, manages conflicting priorities. Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills.  Must have strong proficiency in MS Office such as Word, Excel and Outlook.  Must be highly organized, with superior attention to detail.   Easy access to the subway line.  Those interested in this position please email jobs@marberg.com and put “AA-Govt” in subject line.
