Job Description: 

Administrative Assistant required for a Provincial Government Agency. Responsibilities include organizing meeting schedules, travel arrangements. Greeting and directing visitors and callers, answering phone calls, taking messages, determining nature of calls and responding to routine enquiries. Maintain filing system, preparing files, retrieving files, re-labeling and repairing worn files, records retention, responding to requests for information from files. Sort and distribute all incoming mail and faxes, preparing packages for courier shipment. Maintain office equipment inventory of office supplies. Ideal candidate must possess Knowledge of general office procedures. Must possess good verbal and written communication skills for composing standard correspondence. Must possess good interpersonal skills to liaise with various clients, internal and external stakeholders, and team members.
