Job Description: 

A Provincial Government Agency is looking for an Administrative Assistant. Responsibilities include day-to-day internal operations of senior manager’s office. Drafting standard correspondence, briefing notes, memos, and letters.  Conduct background research on issues and preparing reports. Maintain inventory of office supplies, ordering supplies as required, maintain filing systems and preparing courier and mail materials. Making travel arrangements and scheduling meetings and arranging conference calls. Handling sensitive and confidential information. Ideal candidate must possess prior administrative support experience minimum of 3 years. Must possess strong Microsoft Office skills. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must possess good interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders, various clients and team members. Must be able to multi-task and manage conflicting priorities. Must possess strong organizational skills and be able to meet deadlines. Must possess strong attention to detail and have good judgement and discretion to handle confidential and sensitives issues.
