Administrative Assistant-Government <AA9>
Administrative Assistant required for a Provincial Government Agency. Will be supporting a senior manager by providing front-line reception duties including greeting and screening visitors. Process incoming and outgoing mail and courier materials. Ensure all information documents are fully stocked and managed. Assist with facilities by ensuring supply rooms are stocked, order additional supplies as needed. Control and organize room bookings for meetings. Ensure cleanliness of shared areas, including kitchen, windows, meeting rooms. Provide financial support by developing routine and standard templates for office use. Maintain accurate filing systems in a confidential manner. Perform daily accounts payable activities and conducts basic analysis on accounts as required. Other administrative support such as filing, faxing and photocopying, as needed. Other duties as required. Ideal candidate must possess minimum of 2 years office experience. Must possess hands on experience in Accounts payable or general accounting. Must possess proficient Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint). Must possess excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Must possess strong organizational, interpersonal and customer service skills.
