Training Coordinator-Government <HR6>
Training Coordinator required for a Provincial Government Agency. Responsibilities include coordinating registration and attendance for training sessions. Facilitate meetings or training sessions – setup-up, take down, liaise with venue/catering staff. Produce training announcement and invitations. Registers individuals (staff and managers) for conferences and courses, managing payments and ensuring appropriate documentation. Facilitate and provide new employee training: IT Orientation, Online Attendance. Organizes all other required training components for new employees, for example Workplace Violence e-learning, maintain tracking and conducting follow-up to ensure completion/compliance. Coordinates event space bookings – acts as main contact with venue. Assist in coordination of New Employee Orientation and Welcome Event. Assist in making arrangements for room bookings, audio and video technological requirements needed for each training session. Assist with the coordination of New Employee Orientation and Welcome Event. Assists with the coordination of a range of initiatives and programs. Maintains an up to date training database – uploads all staff attendance for each session. Maintain up-to-date records for all employee training. Assist in developing, collecting and analyzing survey data to improve on future training offerings, sessions. Ideal candidate must possess a Post-secondary education. Must possess knowledge of general education and adult education practices and theories normally acquired through formal training and/or adequate working experience. Must possess advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Webex, SharePoint. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
