Job Description: 

Quality Analysts required for a Provincial Government agency. Responsibilities are to assess information technology and data/system requirements and needs of business units. Assist and be responsible for test cases and test scenarios. Work with the testing team and project manager to develop defined requirements. Work with Product manager to develop testing artifacts. Support end-user testing and review test results to ensure specifications/ requirements have been met. Report status of assigned activities during the project’s System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Work with project and product team, aligning with overall test strategy and plan. Independently write smart test cases for a technical project. Is comfortable with writing a test plan. Understands the different types of testing and how to write test cases for them (i.e. Automation, Performance, Regression, SIT/UAT, AODA, Security, Localization). Ideal candidate must have experience working in an agile development environment. Must possess knowledge of computer system technologies (operating systems, application software, testing tools, standard/commonly used and customized software, networks), internet technologies and emerging technologies. Must possess knowledge of the theory and principles of systems design and development, and related methods, techniques, practices and standards. Must possess skills to implement configuration management processes. Must possess knowledge of project planning/control/evaluation methodology and business, process and requirements. Must possess testing and product knowledge. Must have well-developed oral and written communication skills and good client relationship and interpersonal skills.
