Human Resources & Payroll Assistant <HR4>
Human Resources and Payroll Assistant required for a well-established company. Responsibilities include processing payroll on a bi-weekly basis and analyzing reports. maintain employee information on database, track and enter employee vacation time, absentees, and health and safety. Assist with applications, group benefits payments, RRSP, and other benefit related programs. Support HR projects and initiatives and assume duties of the Payroll administrator when on vacation. Assist with employee inquiries and requests. Provide administrative support as required including filing, telephone answering, photocopying, scanning and managing emails. Ideal candidate must possess a minimum of 1 year Human Resources and/or Payroll experience, preferably with ADP software. Possession of a Human Resources or Payroll Certification is an asset. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Must possess strong attention to detail, problem solving skills, interpersonal skills, and analytical skills. Must possess the ability to work independently as well as within a team setting. Must possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines. Must be able to maintain discretion in dealing with sensitive information and keep confidentiality of information and documents.
