Job Description: 

HR Administrator required for large provincial government agency. Will be responsible for the accurate entry and maintenance of employee records.  Responds to internal staff enquiries pertaining to the processing of employment related transactions.  Audit, verify and coordinate the processing of all employment related transactions, such as but not limited to new hires, status changes, benefits enrollment, etc. Ensure documentation is complete and in compliance with appropriate business rules and regulations. Ensure processing timelines meet payroll cut off deadlines. Liaise with the Business, Talent Acquisition Centre and Payroll to obtain missing information and/or clarification with regards to new hire documentation received; process miscellaneous transactions.  Update system data in response to requests for confidential estimates. Provide customer/support services to all internal staff and managers on enquiries pertaining to the processing of employment related transactions. Will be answering employee and manager inquiries around benefits, salary, additional pay etc. as inputted in the PeopleSoft HR system. Perform daily and biweekly HRMS data integrity checks to ensure work entered by HRT team has been completed accurately.  Participating in system user testing for upgrades and implementations including creating test scenarios and test scripts. Must have completed a post-secondary education or equivalent.  Advance proficiency in MS Office such as Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.  Experience working with an HRIS system; Peoplesoft is an asset.  Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.  Able to work independently in a fast pace team environment.
