Job Description: 

Seeking Database and SharePoint Administrator for a Broader Public sector employer. Will be responsible for the maintenance, monitoring and upgrade of SQL Server databases and the SharePoint environments. Will resolve technical problems, design, develop and implement new databases, SharePoint functions and capabilities; administers and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases.  Will oversee the SharePoint Portal Server infrastructure, user access and application deployment. Will participate in planning and execution of tasks related to the evaluation of new SharePoint based initiatives. Maintains and administers Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server, including daily monitoring, troubleshooting and performance analysis. Must have a university degree in mathematics, computer science, computer engineering or related information technology discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience). Must have 2-4 years of experience directly related to Database Administration and Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing. Successful candidate must have superior attention to detail oriented, good coding, troubleshooting, and debugging skills; good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle methods. Must have knowledge of Active Directory and Windows-based server.  Must have experience with SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Integration Services, and SQL Server Analysis Services is preferred.
