Job Description: 

Graphic Designer with knowledge and experience of designing for Accessibility required for a Provincial Government Agency.  Will be responsible for designing for Web Accessibility and to create and ensure documents are fully accessible.  Develop & apply templates to MS Word documents. Ensure quality & consistency of formatting, style and terminology. Prepare & format hard copy and online documents to meet company/client standards in regards to the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) compliance formatting and WCAG 2.0 principles. Ideal candidate must possess Graphic Design Knowledge and experience designing for Accessibility. Must possess knowledge and experience working under the guidelines of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). Must possess knowledge and experience working with WCAG 2.0 Guidelines. Must possess a Post-secondary education with a minimum of a 1 year of related experience. Must possess knowledge and experience working with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Must possess knowledge with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat. Must be highly organized, strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail and be able to work well with a team.
