Job Description: 

Facilities Administrator required for a Provincial Government Agency. Responsibilities include monitoring facilities email, triaging issues, identifying the appropriate action(s) to resolve the issues. Either by delegating work to someone, contacting a contractor, or doing the task themselves. Tasks may involve using tools such as a hammer and screwdriver, and picking up boxes and moving paper around, etc. On days where there is nothing going on in facilities, will be assisting with HR or H&S projects. These could include preparing the Health and Safety workplace inspection report, filing confidential documents, reorganizing filing systems, upgrading the WHMIS system, etc. Ideal candidate must be able to perform facilities management duties, using a hammer and screwdriver, and be able to lift boxes up to 50lbs. Must be proficient with computers and possess proficient skills with Microsoft Excel and other Office Suite applications. Must possess good administrative skills. Must possess good oral and written communication skills. Must possess strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
