Job Description: 

Opportunity for a qualified Accounting Clerk to provide general accounting support for an employer in Toronto to cover a 1 year maternity leave. Responsibilities include providing accounts payable and accounts receivable. Updating and maintaining account ledger. Preparing general ledger postings. Reconciling invoices and bank statements. Responsible for collections, cash application and fee calculation. Providing payroll entries. Providing administrative and reception support as necessary. Ideal candidate must have a post-secondary degree in Accounting or Business/Commerce. Must have a minimum of 2 years of accounting experience. Must have strong organizational, time management and interpersonal skills. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
