Job Description: 

Opportunity for a full-time permanent Accountant/Administrative Assistant to provide accounts receivable, accounts payable and administrative support for an Investment Firm employer in Toronto. Responsibilities include preparing account entries by verifying and analyzing account information. Preparing balance sheet and summarize current financial status. Reconciling monthly balance sheet accounts and resolve financial discrepancies. Conducting month-end and year-end processes. Conducting HST/GST filing. Preparing payroll calculations and administer payroll bi-weekly. Providing additional administrative support as required. Ideal candidate must have previous Accounting experience. Must have a Bachelors' in Accounting. Must have knowledge of full-cycle bookkeeping. Must have advanced knowledge of QuickBooks. Knowledge of generally accepted accounting practices and principles. Must have strong organizational, time management and interpersonal skills. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
